Maurice Clark Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Reflection Cremation & Funeral Service - Tifton on Dec. 8, 2025.
Mr. Maurice Clark was borned in Atlanta, Georgia on January 19, 1960 and departed this life on December 5, 2025. He was the second of six children to the late Mrs. Gwendolyn B. Hull and Mr. Harold Clark Sir. He joined Flipper Temple AME Church in Atlanta, Georgia at an early age, accepted Christ in his life and served faithfully in the church. He graduated from D. M. Therrell High School in 1978.

Maurice was skilled at many things, however, there were two things that really brought him joy. Maurice was a highly skilled painter for most of his life, and his love for gardening and landscaping was unmatched. His talented hands brought joy to customers, family members, friends and even those in need of assistance.

Maurice was also kind and funny. He had a way of making you smile and laugh often time for no reason at all. He was always in a happy mood and even happier when he was painting or gardening. And we certainly can't forget about his love for animals. Not only was he a caregiver with people, but his love for animals was just as strong as his love for humanity.

He attended St. John AME Church in Fairburn, Georgia in 2020 and attended regularly until he moved to Lakeland, Georgia in 2023.

Maurice leaves cherished memories to his wife Patricia Clark, four step children, his aunt Christine Wilburn, his five siblings Harold Clark II, Vickie L. Strozier (DeJuan), Wanda R. Dockery, Wendell B. Hull (Chamika), Patrice M. Hull, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
