Maurice was my fathers best friend since they were in elementery school. I knew and loved him all my life.
Maurice and his wife Elsie introduced my dad to the woman who became my wonderful step-mother, Ellen. She was a very good friend of Elsie and lost her husband about the same time my mother died.
Maurice and Elsie were a fantastic couple and I know his family misses him very much.

I have known Maurice, or Boody as my parents always called him, all my life. He was my dads best friend, he, Boody and my mom had been friends since they were in elementary school together.
They remained friends into adulthood. Boody was a much needed friend to my dad when my mother died. In fact, it was Boody who introduced my dad to a newly widowed lady, Ellen, who was his wife Elsies best friend. Daddy and Ellen married a few months after meeting.
Boody outlived both my parents and my bonus mother, Ellen.
I was saddened to hear of his passing. But I know Daddy, Mom, Ellen and Boody are having a really good time up in Heaven!
Rest well, dear Boody!
