Mr. Maurice Ray Johnson

Maurice Ray Johnson was born December 15, 1952, in Griffin, Ga to the late L.C. and Nadine Johnson. He graduated from Griffin High School. After graduating high school Maurice attended Griffin Technical College in Griffin, Georgia.

He was employed by Atlanta Precast Concrete building solutions and worked in construction for many years. Later, he worked at Griffin High School with his brother. He was considered a handy man. Could repair most things. He even built a pool in his parents' back yard.

He entered eternal rest Tuesday, January 27, 2026. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nadine Johnson, and his father, L. C. Johnson, and his son Maurice Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his daughter, Coretta Johnson, wife, Nita Johnson, his sister Carletha Jester, grandchildren, Bernard Johnson, Cordarious Johnson, Santonic Johnson, Amyjia Johnson. Along with five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
