Mr. James Charles Phinazee

James Charles Phinazee was born on June 2, 1957, in Barnesville, Georgia to Andrew and Mattie Phinazee. On March 2, 2026, he peacefully entered eternal rest
leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Mattie Phinazee, his father, Andrew Phinazee, and his
granddaughter, Kimya Harris. Charles graduated from Pike County School System in Zebulon, Georgia. At an early age, he accepted Christ and carried his faith with
him throughout his life.

Charles dedicated 41 years of faithful service in the trucking industry where he was known for his reliability, dedication, and strong work ethic. After serving 25
years at Bonsal America, he later retired and continued his passion for hard work and entrepreneurship by establishing his landscaping business, A & J Lawn Care.
He built it with pride and determination, always striving to provide for his family and create something meaningful that would endure.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his devoted and faithful wife of 18 years, Renita Phinazee; and the loving son born of their union, Andrew Phinazee; his beloved children, Tory (Maurice) Phinazee, Shae (Sultan) Phinazee and Keylia Phinazee; and his cherished bonus daughters, LaTasha Harris and Jemiliah Dorsey. Siblings: Paul (Mary) Phinazee, Joe N. Phinazee, Teresa Phinazee, Mary Banks, Sheila Smith, Joe L. Phinazee, Tyrone (Shanda) Phinazee, Clifton (Lisa) Phinazee, Felicia Conley, Dierdre Dorsey, Mia Holland, Henry Hutchins, Sheila Hutchins, along with a host of cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends. He was also the proud and devoted grandfather of 11 grandchildren, each of whom brought immeasurable joy, pride, and abundance love into his life.

Charles will be remembered for his quiet strength, generous spirit, steady guidance, and the deep love he had for his family. Though he is no longer with us in body, his legacy of hard work, faith, and unwavering devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be heldmon Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Burden's Funeral Home. Service will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 12:00 PM in the Chapel at Burden's Funerl Home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service hour.
