Frank Phinazee Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Nov. 14, 2025.
Frank Phinazee, of Macon, Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025. He was born on May 11, 1938, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late William Phinazze and Annie Wyatt. After completing high school, Frank proudly served his country in the United States Army, rising to the rank of Staff Sergeant. His service reflected the dedication, strength, and commitment that he carried throughout his life. Frank had a lifelong love for sports-especially baseball and football. Whether cheering on his favorite teams or talking game highlights with friends, sports brought him great joy. He was truly the life of every gathering. Known for his humor, warm spirit, and playful personality, Frank loved being surrounded by friends and family. Whether at a lively party or a quiet afternoon visit, spending time with loved ones was his greatest pleasure. He had a natural gift for making people laugh and smile-a gift that will be deeply missed. Frank is preceded in death by his beloved parents; and his brother Jack Phinazee. Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Jacuelyn Haris; nieces, Teresa Sangster, Michelle Phinazee; nephew, Glenn Phinazee; and cousin, Linda Robinson; along with many friends and extended family whose lives he brightened over the years. A graveside service honoring Frank's life will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, GA, with Craig Walden officiating. Frank's laughter, kindness, and joyful spirit will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace. With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
