Bertha Phinazee Obituary
Roz grew up in Tallahassee and graduated from Leon High School. She married Herbert 'Shannon' Phinazee and traveled the world as an Army wife. After Shannon retired, they returned to Tallahassee. She enjoyed bartending, the beach, Biloxi, and her grand/great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband of 55 years; son, Jet and grandson, Matthew Phinazee.
Roz is survived by her sons, Russell Phinazee and Michael (Kathy) Phinazee; Grandchildren, Katie (Jeffery) Lewis, Taylor (Steven) Short, Robby Phinazee and Aryana Phinazee. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Jackson, Tanner, Laken, Rylan, Reese, Matthew and Wesley. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
No formal services are planned at this time.
