Maurice L. Joseph

Maurice L. Joseph, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and brother-in-law, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, at the age of 88. He was born on November 29, 1936, in Georgetown, Guyana, to the late Esther London and the late Leland Joseph.
He leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Barbara, children, Maurice Jr. Dexter (D.J.), Mario and Marcia, grandchildren, Morrison and Micaela and great granddaughter, Phoenix. He was brother to the late Sonny and the late Desmond Joseph and uncle to Everton, Arlene, Esther, Wayne and Shaun Joseph, and brother-in-law of Vera Joseph.
Raised in Georgetown, Guyana, Maurice attended Tutorial High School before immigrating to the United States in 1984 where he worked at Mount Sinai Medical Center in NYC for 13 years as a Data Entry Manager in the Development Office. It is here that Maurice built a life filled with love, compassion, and cherished memories.
Maurice was a devoted family man, deeply committed to his family. He was a pillar of strength and a constant source of support, guiding his family with wisdom, patience and unwavering love. Maurice's greatest pride were the births of his grandchildren and his great granddaughter.
Maurice will be remembered for his warm smile, gentle demeanor and a compassionate heart. He touched the lives of all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness and perseverance. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Funeral Service to honor and celebrate Maurice's life will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at All County Funeral Home & Crematory at 3:00 pm, located at 1107 Lake Ave., Lake Worth, FL 33460.
