Richard Houghton Obituary
Richard was born in Springfield, MA on October 21,1944.
He was the son of Lura Barry and Earl R. Houghton and was predeceased by his brother Kenneth in 2007. Richard served in the United States Army in Germany from 1960 until 1965. He returned to Springfield, MA and worked for City Hall for two years,
He worked for the United States Postal Service in the Bulk Mail Center for 40 Years. He retired in 2003 and resided in Springfield, MA until 2019 and moved with his entire family.
Richard leaves behind his lovely wife Janet Blair Houghton of Lake Worth, FL; 2 children, son Stephen R. Houghton and daughter Denise Cardinale and her husband Nicholas Cardinale; 4 Grandsons, Anthony, Alexander, Dominic, and James, all of Lake Worth, Florida; a brother, Donald Houghton and his wife Libby Houghton and their 3 nieces, all of Boynton Beach, FL.
