Miss Shirley Reisch, age 87, of Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on September 14th, 2025. She was born in the small town of Attica, Indiana, attended Ball State University, and raised her family in Hinsdale, Illinois. She is survived by her daughter Cathy and granddaughter Samantha, and her second daughter Andrea.
In 1989 she married Mr. Joe Reisch of La Grange, Illinois. They were the perfect match. Joe's son, Joe Jr., and wife Geri, loved and adored Shirley. Their beautiful children- Jenna, Jamie, Erica, Alexis, and Joie-thought and loved her as their own grandmother.
In 2020, after her husband passed away, Shirley relocated permanently to Palm Beach, where she enjoyed her time with a nice glass of wine and the beautiful ocean. She loved her family more than anything else. She also loved her friends, playing tennis, shopping, racing her BMW, and simply enjoyed everything life had to offer. Known for her bright smile, kind heart, and boundless energy, she brought sunshine wherever she went. She made the best of everything-tried to see the best in everyone.
No matter her age, Shirley was always young at heart. Whether playing tennis multiple times a week, walking the beach, or dressing to the nines, she approached every day with elegance and joy. Her outer beauty was matched only by her inner light-a reflection of the faith and strength that guided her life. That same faith, quiet but unwavering, gave her peace through life's ups and downs, and shaped the deep love she poured into her family.
Shirley's life was a reflection of quiet faith, deep love, and joyful spirit. Her relationship with God gave her strength, and her family gave her purpose. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, grace, and resilience-cherished by those who knew her, and held in the heart of God whom she trusted every step of the way.
