Jerry Louis Fuelling

Jerry L. Fuelling, 78, passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 11. He was born to Minnie and Gerald Fuelling of Woodburn, IN on January 3, 1947. He graduated from Woodlan High School and received his degrees from Indiana University and Ball State University. He taught Biology and Vocational Horticulture at Warren Central and North Central High Schools. He belonged to the Royal Horticultural Society, the Holly Society, and the Rhododendron Society. He planted many trees and flowering shrubs leaving a living legacy for all to enjoy. In retirement Jerry enjoyed traveling with Cathy, his wife of 50 years. He became a Bee Keeper and studied and practiced Tai Chi. He is survived by wife Cathy (Helmer), daughter Gretchen, son John, and grandson Cal. Sister Jill (Carl) Anserello of Sorrento, British Columbia, brother Jamie (Patti) of Denver Colorado and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Washington Township Education Foundation, the Zionsville Community Schools Education Foundation, or a charity of choice.
