Maurine Gerlich Obituary
Maurine was born October 13, 1928 in Rankin, TX to Jessie and Cena Goodman. Maurine married Edward John Gerlich on October 29, 1948 in Dallas, Texas; She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and an exceptional homemaker to her husband and two children. She and Edward enjoyed traveling domestically and abroad. They were members of the Road Runner RV Club and the Silver Streak RV Club.
Maurine is survived by her loved ones including daughter, Dahlann Gerlich; son, Samuel Gerlich; niece Elaina Mann, nephew David Mann, cousin Ola Mae Ethridge, and her loving caregiver Dora Gonzales.
Preceded in death by her parents, sister Helen Westberry, sister Modelle Roberts, and husband, Edward who passed away February 6, 2005.
Maurine was an avid gardener, crafts enthusiast and was a central player/planner in family reunions. She loved unconditionally and nurtured all those around her with her generous nature and warm consoling laugh. We were lucky to have her with us for 96 years. She will be missed.
A celebration of her life will be 2:00 PM Friday,November 22, 2024 in Sanders Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Al Wise officiating.
