Max Duane Kellough
March 30, 1930 - September 24, 2022
Max Duane Kellough of Friend, NE passed away Saturday September 24, 2022, in Lincoln at the age of 92. Max was born March 30, 1930, in Friend, to Leonard J. Kellough and Edith L. (Sims) Kellough. To this union three children were born, Max, Rex and Janice. Max was married June 10, 1951, to Roberta Grace Embree.
Survivors include daughter Karen Diamond, Omaha/Friend, NE, son, Mark Kellough, Lincoln, son, Kirk Kellough, Scribner, son, Kent Kellough, San Diego, CA. Three grandchildren, Natalie and spouse Erik Duarte, Amy Kellough, Stacy Kellough, and great-grandchild, Olivia Duarte, all of Lincoln and Susie Kellough, Crete, mother of his grandchildren. Also survived by three nieces, six nephews, and a host of many friends and extended family. Preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Edith Kellough, brother Rex, wife Roberta (2013), sister Janice, two nephews and one niece.
Funeral services Friday September 30, 2022, 1030am at the Friend United Methodist Church. Burial Andrew Cemetery with full military rights. American Legion Friend Ford Banka #183. Visitation Thursday September 29, 2022, 2-9pm with family greeting family and friends, 5-7pm at Lauber Funeral and Cremation Services, Friend, NE.
