Max Wilder

Mr. Jerry Max Wilder, 84, resident of Trinity, died January 23, 2026, at Magnolia Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Thomasville.

He was born October 20, 1941, in Gibsonville, NC, a son to James L. and Ruth Hinton Wilder. As a resident of this area most of his life, he worked in Optometry as a lab technician and was a member of Thomasville Seventh Day Adventist Church. Max loved music and was a wonderful guitar player. He always enjoyed playing in concerts with his church group, "Southern Sounds".

Surviving is his sister, Faye Niblett of Florida; a niece, Rhonda Niblett of Montana; and three nephews, John and Sam Wilder both of Michigan, and Donald Ray Wilder. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

A memorial service be held at a later date. Interment will be at Alamance Memorial Park Cemetery in Burlington.
