Sgt.Wood was at the OHP Lima Post when I started as a young prosecutor and retired when I was a Judge at Lima Muni. Ct. Along with Sgts.Young, Reu and Schleeter, They were there each over 20 years and mentored many fine Troopers. Sarge was a great credit to the OSP and a truly fine gentleman. It was my privilege to have known him, RIP Max

Max was a Great Friend who I met while running with the Bath And Fire Department. I had the one to work with Him on Multiple Accident Scenes. He was a Great Husband to His Wife Martha, a Great Father to His Children and Grandchildren. He was also a Great Friend. And a wonderful Highway Patrolman. I really enjoyed spending quality time with Him when I went to visit him or Hunting. He loved to Fish. Max may be gone, But Never Forgotten. Rest in HEAVENLY PEACE MY FRIEND.
