Maxine Dueitt, age 81, passed away April 28, 2025. She greatly enjoyed music, dancing, and playing the Nintendo with her grandkids. She had a passion for reading, camping, fishing, doing crossword puzzles, playing with her animals, but most importantly she loved spending time with her family. She will truly be missed by all who were honored to know her.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Charles Wesley Dueitt; mother, Minnie Lee Parker; father, Melvin Eugene Bradley; brothers, John Bradley and Ralph Bradley; and her dog Sassy.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Charles "Tony" (Diane) Dueitt, Melvin (Lori) Dueitt, and Donna (Richard) Brasmer; grandchildren, Abra McGill, Christina (John-Paul) Voelkel, Charley Dueitt, Lacy (Cody) Simpson, Leah (Adam) Tackitt, Kimberly (Shawn) Reed, Barkley (Rheygen) Moody, Dalton (Dianna) Moody, and Kayla (Michael) Cadrecha; great-grandchildren, Journey, Aliana, Valyn, Ian, Avery, Kinley, Alaina, Jace, Liliana, Zaine, Kinley, River, Jersey, Brantley, Kade, Nash, Reighlyn, Annie, and Catherine; numerous other relatives and friends.
The Visitation will be Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Moments Funeral Home Leakesville from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Kaleb Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Dueitt Family cemetery. Pallbearers include Cody Simpson, Daniel Wade, Ian Voelkel, Robert Long, Shawn Reed, and Zaine Moody.
