Maxine Hays Obituary

A Bowling Green native, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Lucille Amos Pruett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston Hays; one son, Jeff Hays; two sisters, Glenedine Wilson and Evelyn Deckard; and one brother, Gale Pruett.
She is survived by one son, Gary; grandsons Shaun Hays (Amanda) and Jesse Hays (Paige); and one granddaughter, Mollie Scott. She is also survived by one great-grandson, PFC Andrew Hays of the United States Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Lejeune, Parris Island, North Carolina.
Maxine was a retired inspector at Union Underwear and a lifelong member of Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ.
Services have been entrusted to J. C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday the 24th, at the Broadway Chapel, with a funeral service at 11:00 AM the following Tuesday morning. Burial will take place at Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ Cemetery.
