Maxine "Mac" Canady Edenfield Pearson, 93, went to heaven Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the Oaks. She was born October 31, 1931, in Screven, Georgia to the late Silas Bayne Canady and the late Zubie Lee Miller Canady.
Maxine graduated from high school and from Draugh’s Business College with an accounting degree. She loved her family and taking care of her plants.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Austin Pearson, Jr..
Surviving are: five children, Mitchell Edenfield of Savannah, Wayne Edenfield and wife Jude of Glade Valley, North Carolina, Sandra White and husband, Larry of Savannah, Sharon Taglioli and husband, Clay of Savannah, and Randy Edenfield of Guyton; grandchildren, Farrah Irby and husband, Justin of White House, Tennessee, Cody Edenfield of Pooler, Travis Edenfield and wife, Cheryl of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, Kaycee Marks and husband, Brandon of Madison, Wisconsin, Michelle Leverett and husband, Chris of Savannah, Courtney Jones and husband, Tom of Byrdstown, Tennessee, Jack Harmon and wife, Paige of Savannah, Jason Harmon and wife, Frances of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jessica Duke of Keystone Heights, Florida, Jeramie Duke of Savannah, and Jessica Daniel and husband, Armand of Wilmington, North Carolina.
The family will be present 10 o’clock until 11 o’clock Thursday morning at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, Georgia. Funeral services will follow in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11 o’clock in the morning.
Graveside services and entombment will be held at 11 o’clock Friday morning in Screven City Cemetery,
