Maxine Cherry Pace

Maxine Cherry Pace, 79, of Lonoke passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024. She was born November 23, 1944 in Little Rock to the late Mars E. and Ruthie Tucker Cherry. Mrs. Pace graduated from Harris High School and from Arkansas AM&N. She loved the Lord and her family. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends and hosting them in her home. Mrs. Pace was faithful to visit those from her church who were sick and she always made a point to make time to spend with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pace was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Pace and a sister, Carolyn Thomas.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Tracy L. Pace of Maumelle and Eric D. Pace of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Triston Pace and Khristian Pace and brothers, Mars E. Cherry, Jr. of North Little Rock and Clifford Cherry of Collierville, Tennessee.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2024 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 17 in the funeral home chapel with burial following at Brooks Cemetery in North Little Rock.
