Mark Davis Register, 71, of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away at home on January 18, 2026, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Leesburg, Florida, Mark enlisted in the United States Air Force on April 2, 1973, proudly serving his country while traveling the world. Following his retirement from the Air Force, he explored several fields of interest and earned his Associate's Degree in Applied Sciences with a focus in Computer Information Systems. Eventually, he discovered a true passion, working with boats, and spent many years at Art's Marine until his retirement. Mark had a deep love for the outdoors, enjoyed cooking, and cherished time spent with his beloved "granddogs."

He is preceded in death by his wife of 16 years, Linda Register; father, Robert Register; and brothers, Ricky Graham and Tommy Graham.

He is survived by his two children, Carrie and Jason Register; mother and step-father, Shirley and Don Mattingly; siblings, Ann Marie Hatcher and David Graham; and many other loving family members and friends.

There will be a celebration of life with military honors at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 1504 N JP Wright Loop Road in Jacksonville, Arkansas. There will be visitation held prior to the service beginning at 10:00a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local animal shelters.
