Memorial service for May Brown, age 70, of Dekalb, TX. will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Peters Funeral Home with Tevin and Nadia Neal officiating. She peacefully passed away at her home on May 14, 2023.
May was born on August 25, 1952 in Fairfield, TX to Clark and Jeffie Brown. She loved spending time with her family. Her light was bright and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Marie Spencer (Dekalb, TX.); son-in-law, Loyal Spencer (Dekalb, TX.); aunt, Orera Wilson (Houston, TX.); grandchildren, Raymond Walker (Dallas, TX.), Holly Simmons (Dallas, TX.), Dimitree Spencer (Dallas, TX.), Cynthia Spencer (Dallas, TX.), Destiny Spencer-Mitchell (Dallas, TX.), Jamaul Mitchell (Dallas, TX.), Eniata Brown (Dallas, TX.), Loyal Spencer, Jr. (Dallas, TX.), Christopher Spencer (Dallas, TX.), Heaven Lyons (Dallas, TX.), and D’Andre Thomas (Dallas, TX.) as well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
May was preceded in death by her mother, Jeffie Lee Brown; father, Clark Lee Brown, and her brother, Willie Ray Thompson.
