May Marie Shrum

May Marie (Lindamood) Shrum of Madill, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the age of 80. She was born on Sunday, May 13, 1945 in Sunkist, Oklahoma to Juanita Marie (Bowers) and Silis Authur Lindamood.
May was a longtime resident of Madill, Oklahoma. She married Ray Ellis Shrum on May 13, 1968.
She enjoyed crocheting, fishing with her grandchildren and giving them a hard time. She also loved driving tractors.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Ellis Shrum who had passed in 1999; daughter Mary Ann Shrum; parents Juanita Marie (Bowers) and Silis Authur Lindamood; siblings Herman, Francis, Jimmy Ray, Walter, Susie, Shirley Ann; grandchild Dustin Shrum; and son-in-law Mike Pender.
Survivors include her children Juanita Pender, Jesse Shrum and wife Paula, Arthur Shrum; grandchildren Sarah Higgins and husband Roger, Michael Shrum, Barry Pender and wife Shawntina, Abe Brown Jr., Eric Lee Shrum, Maria, Rowdy; great grandchildren Ryan, Landon, Kason, Kolton, Raelynn, Kyra, Layla; as well as other extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at the Gordon Center, 305 N 2nd Ave. Durant, Oklahoma.
