Mayvis grew up in a large and lively family. She was preceded in death by her siblings Junior Sullivant, Joyce Todd, and Bob Sullivant. She is survived by her sisters Elizabeth Walker and Sharon Sullivant, who will forever cherish her memory.
She married her beloved husband, Lyle Dee, who preceded her in death. Together they raised two children, Lyle Gene and Janet, whom she adored with all her heart. Her family continued to grow, blessing her with four grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren-each one a source of immense joy and pride.
Mayvis had a remarkable love for God, a faith so fierce and unwavering that it inspired all who knew her. Even in life's hardest moments, her trust in the Lord never wavered. She lived as a devoted Christian, a shining example of perseverance, devotion, and grace.
She was also happiest when surrounded by the simple joys she cherished-horses, her decorative roosters and of course her family. Her strength, boundless love, and nurturing spirit will be profoundly missed.
Mayvis leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and resilience. Her memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
Services to honor and celebrate her life will be held at Jay's Chapel on December 22, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
