Mazzie Savannah Hering Blair went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. She was born on August 30, 1999, to Brian and Stephanie (Wood) Hering in Greenville, SC. She was the light of their life. Mazzie was never more happy than when she married the love of her life, Zack, in July. Mazzie loved her family, being a wife, country music, the beach, all animals, and getting her hair and nails done. She made a life of caring for others by becoming a CNA and taking care of her patients. Her needs were often put on the back burner so that she could care for her family, friends, patients, and animals. Mazzie had a smile that was infectious and if you didn't have one she would share hers with you.
Mazzie is survived by her husband, Zackery Alan Blair; her parents, Brian and Stephanie Wood Hering; her paternal grandfather, David Charles Hering; her maternal grandparents, Ronald Elmo and Vela Louise Wood; two brothers, Maverick Hering and Dillon Hering; and one sister, Sadie Hering.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral Service for Mazzie will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 1:00 PM with Pastor John Morgan officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mazzie's honor to the Humane Society of America .
Clark Funeral Home is honored to care for the Hering Family during this difficult time.
