Mechelle Riles Obituary
Mechelle Rae McDonald Riles, 56 years old, beloved mother, daughter, and grandmother, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on July 15, 1968, born to Mary and Ray McDonald, in Baton Rouge, LA.
Mechelle is survived by her loving daughters, Kimberly Hughes and Jessika Russell (Heath); step-sons, Mike Riles, Jr., Keith Riles, and Chad Riles (Brandi); grandchild, Raelee Russell; parents, Ray and Mary Martin McDonald; brothers, DJ, Ray, Jr., and Dusty McDonald; sister, Mary Etheridge; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mechelle is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Michael "Mike" Riles, Sr.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
