Donald "Don" Ray Fabre, 79 years old, a resident of St. George, LA, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 2, 2025. He entered this world on August 8, 1946, born to Kenneth and Shirley Chenevert Fabre, in Baton Rouge, LA. He worked for 50 years in the Marine Industry. Don was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He traveled the country in his motor home, often times to support his LSU Tigers on the road.
Don is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Hornsby Fabre; daughters, Doreen Prejean (Doug), Stefanie Davis; son, Todd Fabre (LaDonna); step-daughters, Kim Hollis (Jimmy) and Angie McKey (Rawlins), step-son, Jay Faust (Candi); 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Don is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Fabre; mother, Shirley Chenevert Fabre; brother, Randy Fabre; and a sister, Diane LeBlanc.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Deacon Don Musso. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
