Megan Dildine Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Homes - Macomb on Dec. 6, 2025.
Megan Lee Dildine, 46, of Adair passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, surrounded by love with her family and friends.

Megan was born on January 4, 1979 to Steve Meredith, and Ellen and Patrick Dowdall. She married the love of her life, John Dildine on September 6, 2003. He survives along with three children, daughter Emma Dildine (Tyler Nichols) of Springfield, sons, Ethan Dildine and Emerson Dildine both at home, her parents, Ellen and Patrick Dowdall of Table Grove, brother, Matt (Tracy) Meredith, of Adair, and a sister, Caitlin (Jack) Cavett, of Morton, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Megan was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leland and Virginia Graham, Clyde Meredith, and her father, Steve Meredith.

Megan's family meant everything to her. She was so proud of her children and where they are headed in life. Megan loved to support her kids in whatever event they were in at the time. She was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Megan would do anything to help anyone. She was so loved by everyone. She will be missed by everyone that knows her. She definitely left a mark on your heart once you knew her. Megan was a proud graduate of Macomb High School and then Western Illinois University. Megan worked at the Macomb High School Office as the Attendance Secretary.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Industry Assembly of God Church from 9 to 11 a.m. with the service to follow with Pastor Jon Keck officiating.

There will be no burial at this time.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Megan Dildine Memorial Fund, which will be used for the children's college education fund.
