In Loving Memory of Megan Elizabeth Jones (Fitzpatrick)

December 16, 1952 – November 10, 2025

Megan Jones, affectionately known as Gammy, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, at 11:31 a.m., surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 16, 1952, in Redwood City, California, to Peggy and Edward Fitzpatrick.

Megan married the love of her life, Max Jones, in 1971 in Fremont, California, and together they built a lifetime of love, family, laughter, and cherished memories. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose compassion and warmth touched everyone she met.

She is survived by her husband, Max Jones; her children, Craig Jones, Kimberly Jones, daughter-in-laws, Shantel Jones and Molly Little; her beloved grandchildren, Alycea Jones, Mercedez Smith, and Kyle Jones; and her precious great-grandchildren, Scarlett Smith and Violet Jones. She also leaves behind her sister, Paula Botelho, and her cherished Cavaliers, Brianna and Darby. She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Megan grew up in Fremont, California, and graduated from Irvington High School. In 2000, she and Max made Olympia, Washington, their home, where she continued to live a life filled with family, creativity, and adventure.

A woman of many talents, Megan loved sewing, quilting, shooting, camping, UTV rides, motorcycle adventures, traveling, long walks, playing the piano and relaxing with her favorite audiobooks. Her creativity and thoughtfulness shined through everything she touched.

Those who knew Megan will remember her as selfless, genuine, loving, silly, and kind-a woman with a heart of pure gold. She always put others before herself and made every person feel valued and loved. Above all, keeping her family close was her number one priority.

Her presence will forever be missed, but her love, laughter, and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
