Romilda (Mel) was involved in many activities during her wonderful life. She worked as a lab technician early on and later worked for Dr. Brownlow in his optometry business. But her full-time passion was being a mother to her four children. She dedicated her life to caring for her son, Tommy. Mel was very active in the lives of all her children and grandchildren's school and extracurricular activities. Outside of the home, Mel was spending time with a large group of special friends, enjoying the regular card club group, cook outs, playing bingo at the casino and taking wonderful vacations. In her younger years, she and Dennis were involved in the local Jaycee's/Jaycette's. Mel was very proud of all her children and grandchildren, and she will be missed greatly by all her family and friends.
Her family would like to thank the staff at Bethany Home in Waupaca and Thedacare Hospice for all the services they provided.
