Melanie Singleton Obituary

Mrs. Singleton was born July 29, 1956 in Germany to the late George W. Rond and Helen Cottington Rond.
She had worked as an assistant cook for Ground Round and had also worked at Scott Paper and Capitol Cleaners. Mrs. Singleton enjoyed people, loved to talk to people and enjoyed life, doing crafts, and listening to country and gospel music. She was a member of the Calvery Church in Dover, and the Frederica Senior Center.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leroy "Tommy" Singleton, and brother David Rond.
She is survived by her dear friend Cheryl Diem and her family.
Funeral services will be held 11AM, Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. A visitation will be held one hour prior. Interment will be in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
