Mrs. Stacy was my professor at Keiser University and over time became a wonderful friend.
She and I lost touch for a bit, and then my mother became a patient at Port Orange Nursing and Rehab Center. I was there visiting when I heard Melanie's voice, turned around and lo and behold, there she was with a big smile and a hug!
We saw each other a number of times at the grocery.
After each and every chat I walked away with a smile on my face. Melanie had a very special way about her, and I'm sorry she's no longer here. My husband died Dec. 20, 2021, and my father died just a few days after Melanie.
So, it is with sincerity that I offer my condolences to Penny, Bill and the rest of the family.
I'm so very sorry for your loss. From the bottom of my heart, I am wishing all of you comfort during this holiday season and in the months to come.

Mrs. Melanie and I worked for a short time but what I learned from her seemed like we had known each for a years. She was like my second mother, supervisor, and mentor, all in one. We departed our jobs together a little over a year ago and even though we did work together we remained in contact. I will miss her smile and her encouraging words to keep me going. Mrs. Melanie you have done a great job here in body now your spirit can rest in eternal paradise.
