Melanie Willis

Melanie Deon Willis, 68, of Cleveland, TN passed away on April 8, 2024. She was born on October 26, 1955 in Rockhill, South Carolina. Melanie was a graduate of Lee University, where she was a member of Lee Singers and DZT. She served as a teacher for 15 years. Melanie loved British TV and was an avid estate sale shopper. She served as an educator / teacher for many years in different capacities. Melanie above all loved her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and treasured time together most wether that be estate sale shopping every Saturday or working out in the yard barefoot together.
She is preceded in death by her sister Debra Cheryl Love.
She is survived by her children: Michael Daniel Payne (Priscilla de Almeida Barreto), Christina Taelor Hodge (Josh), William Carrington Moss (Ashley); parents Lewis and Willie Mae Willis; sister Delta Charmaine Thomas; grandchildren: Brooklynn Grace Cantrell, Maksim Zechariah Hodge, Rebecca Isabella Hodge, Abigail Mae Moss, and William Christopher Robert Moss.
In addition to these, she leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends.
Melanie's family will receive friends at 4pm on Saturday April 13th at the North Cleveland Church of God Dixon Chapel, with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 5pm.
