Melba Alice (Martin) Ervin, 91, of Hurst, Tx., passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026 at her home.
Funeral Service: 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at White’s Funeral Home Chapel in Springtown, Texas.
Interment: Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Graceland Cemetery, Jermyn, Texas.
She was such a beautiful soul who loved her family and friends unconditionally. Her happiness came from her family being together. She was a daughter, a sister, a mother, a grandmother, a friend, and everyone who was lucky enough to meet her loved her as well. She will be so truly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Ervin; and her parents, Joseph and Willie Mae Martin; stepmother, Allene Martin; sisters, Falba Brumbaugh, Dorothy Eberhart, and Maxine Knight; and brothers, Leroy Martin, Darnell Martin, Bill Martin.
She is survived by her daughters, Elaine Collins and husband Scott, Deborah Teater and husband Tim; Peggy Swanson and husband Mike; her grandchildren, Heather Rodriguez and husband Edward, Lauren Ervin, Justin Ingram and wife Melissa, Alissa Riker and husband Nick, Erin Holley and husband Zach; Katye Collins and husband Jace Edwards; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Rodriguez, Brody Roque, Christopher Rodriguez, Lucas Riker, Tatum Holley, Dylan Riker, Atley Holley, Ruby Holley, Ava Rodriguez, Matthew Edwards; and her brother, John Martin and wife Cindy.
Pallbearers will be Justin Ingram, Gabriel Rodriguez, Christopher Rodriguez, Edward Rodriguez, Brody Roque, and Zach Holley.
We ask that any and all, who would like to attend, join us in a gathering after the service at Peggy and Mike’s home, also in Jermyn.
