MELBA GINSBERG Obituary
Melba Ellise Pugh Ginsberg, age 86, of Apalachicola , FL, passed away Sunday evening, Sept. 22, 2024, at the home of her daughter in St. George Island, FL.
The family will hold a memorial service on October 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Apalachicola Yacht Club.
Ms. Ginsberg was born in Donalsonville, GA on Oct. 20, 1937, to Melvin and Johnnie Howard Pugh. She was a high school graduate and retired after working in the clothing industry as a sales representative.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Mark Ginsberg and wife Donna of Ponchatoula, LA and her daughter, Joan Lauther and husband Robert of St. George Island, FL; and her sister, Ruby Blackburn of Sallisaw, OK. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jessica Lauther of Apalachicola, FL, Amy McMillin and Chris McMillin of Whitehouse Station, NJ, and Michael Lauther of Tampa, FL, as well as her great-grandchildren, Hannah McMillin and Matthew McMillin of Whitehouse Station, NJ and Michael Lauther, Jr. of Port St. Lucie, FL.
Ms. Ginsberg was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Johnnie Howard Pugh.
