Melba Johnson Obituary
She was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Waters; mother, Una Mae Brock Waters; first husband, G.W. Green; son, Gary Green; brothers, Ed Waters and Johnny Waters; sister, Helen Clifton.
She is survived by her husband, Quay Johnson; son, Mike (Pat) Green; daughter, Sharon (Mark) Rosser; brothers, Winford (Brenda) Waters and Ricky (Kathy) Waters; grandchildren, Justin (Maranda) Green, Deidra Green, Carrie (Jeremy) Miller, LeAnn Green and Amber (Matt) Provenzano along with several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 18, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Ewton Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Bro. Freddie Clayton officiating. Burial will follow in Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Green, Matt Provenzano, Thatcher Provenzano, Marty Hitchcock, Jay Birdwell and Danny "Bam" Atterton.
