Norman Sims Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Bessie Brown Sims; sisters, Ruby, Grace, Mary Etta, Velma, Lena Mae, Wilma and Betty; brothers, Dallas, Claude and Wade.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie Davis Sims; sons, David Sims, Clark (Jenna Mayher) Sims and Michael (Marie) Schmitt; sister, Alma (Ronny) Young; 11 grandchildren, Beth, Jordan, Jalyn, Brady, Jaxton, Taylor, Bailey, Madison, Blakely, Ethen and Will; 13 great grandchildren and one on the way along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Ewton Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Bro. Casey Griffith and Bro. Jason Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Friday from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
