MELBA LENORA REAST

LITTLEFIELD (Special) Funeral Service for Melba Reast, age 79 of Littlefield will be conducted at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at Park View Baptist Church in Littlefield with Reverend Donnie Howell officiating. Burial will be in Littlefield Memorial Park under the direction of Hammons Funeral Home of Littlefield.

Mrs. Reast passed away on Monday, February 14, 2005 at Lamb Healthcare Center in Littlefield. She was born on August 17, 1925 in Spur, Texas to Willie and Thelma Calvert. She married James Reast June 22, 1945 in Brownfield, Texas. They moved to Littlefield in 1958. She taught Sunday School for over 20 years at Parkview Baptist Church where she was a member and sang in the church choir. She is preceded in death by her husband James, September 14, 2004.

She is survived by:

2 Daughters: Jeanie and husband Mike Chism of Lubbock, TX Doniece and husband Troy Jones of Littlefield, TX 2 Brothers: Leland Calvert of Victoria, TX Jerry Calvert of Pendleton, OR 3 Sisters: Jean Hamblet of Grandpraire, TX Mary Jo Williams of Lubbock, TX Strelsa Greene of Lubbock, TX 6 Grandchildren: Jeff and wife Machelle Jones of Sudan, TX Jennifer and Husband Peter Boynton of Tyler, TX James Jones of Littlefield, TX Shane Mackey of Dallas, TX Shelli and Husband Matt Wolfe of College Station, TX Brett Chism of Lubbock, TX 7 Great Grandchildren: Kami, Kari, and Dale Jones Zachary, Elizabeth and Benjamin Boynton Ashtyn Jones
