Melinda Jane Bingle, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on November 1, 2024, at Moses Cone Hospital, at the age of 69. Born on March 25, 1955, in Terre Haute, Indiana, she brought joy and light to everyone lucky enough to know her.
Memorial service date and time will be announced at a later date.
Melinda's life was rich with hobbies and interests that defined her warm spirit and deep-rooted passions. An avid crocheter, she found joy in creating beautiful handmade pieces that adorned her home. Her faith in Jesus was a cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through life's trials and triumphs. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, often involving them in her love for fishing, where laughter and bonding moments were plentiful.
Her interests extended into pop culture, where she found delight in the timeless films of Charles Bronson and the unique universe of Godzilla. These interests reflected her personality, one that was both nurturing and adventurous.
Melinda is survived by her sons, Joseph Bingle and John Bingle; her sisters, Rhonda, Lucy, and Laura; her brothers, Jason and Daniel; and her cherished grandchildren, Chelsea Bingle, Arthur Bingle, and Landon Austin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Each family member held a special place in her heart and life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Milton Bingle, and her parents, Robert Earl Graves and Jane Loretta Graves. Their memories will forever hold a sacred space in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
She will be deeply missed and remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
