It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Melinda Rae Cluff Reidhead, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend, who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 58.
Melinda was born on March 17, 1966, to Philip and Betty (Olsen) Cluff. She was the oldest of four siblings and grew up with a love for learning, which later inspired her career as a teacher. Melinda touched the lives of countless students with her wisdom, patience, and kindness.
On June 29, 1985, Melinda married Delbert Reidhead, and together they created an eternal family filled with music. Melinda was a devoted mother to six children: Sara Runyan and Janelle Casey, who survive her, and Jonathon, Kara, Richard, and James, who preceded her in death. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to six grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.
Melinda was a pillar of strength, enduring numerous health challenges throughout her life. Despite facing hardships that would have broken many, she pushed past all odds with determination, serving as an inspiration to everyone who knew her.
Her talents were many, but she especially excelled at serving, using crafts to bring joy to family and friends. She had a deep love for reading and a passion for music, which brought comfort and happiness throughout her life.
