Melissa Elaine (Eaton) Barrett-Sauls, age 55 of Martinez, Georgia passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Illinois, she graduated from Mt. Vernon High School, Mt. Vernon, IL. Melissa was an amazing, talented, precious daughter, mother, sister, friend, and was loved by many. She will be remembered for her kind heart, wisdom, her beautiful singing voice and as the world’s best baker. She loved baking and singing. She wrote many songs. Melissa is survived by her mother: Cheryl Coulter, brother: Dan Eaton, and her children: Marshall Barrett, Kady Barrett, Wyatt Barrett, and Dalton Barrett. A celebration of life will be held at Marvin United Methodist Church, Sunday May 4 at 3PM, 4400 Wheeler Rd, Martinez, Georgia, 30907.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Praying the Word Ministries in her memory, which she faithfully supported. http://www.prayingtheword.org
She will forever be missed and forever cherished in our hearts.
