FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation ServicesMike Bird Strickland, a devoted husband, father, and friend, passed away at the age of 60 in his home on August 21,2025 Born on April 3, 1965, Mike spent his life building strong relationships and pursuing his passions.
Mike married his beloved wife, Cindy Strickland, on October 30, 1987, and together they shared a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. He is preceded in death by his father, JD Strickland
Mike is survived by his mother Teena Strickland and children: Tara L. Robinson of Calhoun, GA; Amanda D. of Lafayette, GA; Blake James, Kenneth Faulkner of Fulton County, GA; and M. Andrew Strickland of Douglasville, Ga. Brother Chris Strickland of Arkansas and 2 sisters Anne Messier and Amy Thorton of Dallas, Ga. and 10 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grand kids and several nieces and nephews.
A dedicated tradesman, Mike was a member of Sheet Metal Local 85 and worked as a sheet metal worker for 36 years. When he wasn't working, Mike enjoyed Carp fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
Mike's love will live on through the countless lives he touched, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. THERE WILL BE A CELEBRATION OF LIFE AT 105 SHARON Court POOLER GA ON SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 6 2025 FROM 1 TO 4 PM
