MARJORIE ANNETTE GILMER, 88, of AUGUSTA, passed away on 08/13/2025 in AUGUSTA, GA.
MARJORIE GILMER was born in THOMSON, GA to Willie Joe and Lydia Burgamy in November of 1936. She graduated from ARC, Academy of Richmond County, Augusta, GA in 1955.
She married MANLY GILMER April 29th, 1956 in AUGUSTA, GA.
She worked as a secretary, office manager for Gilmer Construction Company for several years. She was involved in Garden clubs, church bible studies, VBS, PTO. She was a devoted mother to her three children.
MARJORIE is preceded in death by both parents, and siblings—Elizabeth Easler, Virginia Roberts, Shelby Whigham, and Norman Burgamy.
MARJORIE is survived by MANLY GILMER/divorced; her three children and their spouses, Ferrell, Darlene, and Elaine. She has seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A private family memorial service will be held in her honor.
