November 19, 1982 - June 2, 2024It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Melissa Boring, who left us far too soon on June 2, 2024, in Copley, Ohio, after a long and courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer. Melissa was born on November 19, 1982, and her vibrant life was a testament to her unyielding spirit and boundless love.

Melissa's greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Rob, and their beloved children, Aria, Edison, Adaline, and Oliver, along with her stepson, Sebastian. Her legacy of love and kindness continues through them. She is also survived by her cherished sister, Trina, and her loving brother, Tony; her parents, Jim and Diane Naso; and her adoring grandmother, Sara. Melissa now joins her grandfather, Tony, in eternal peace.

A dedicated professional, Melissa worked tirelessly at the Cleveland Clinic, where her colleagues knew her for her remarkable dedication and compassion. Outside of her career, Melissa’s world revolved around her children. She relished every moment spent outdoors, whether walking or tending to her garden, finding peace in the calming embrace of nature.

Melissa was a beacon of energy, drive, and determination, inspiring everyone around her. She was an ardent supporter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, participating in several 60-mile walks even in the midst of her battle with cancer. Her unwavering commitment to this cause highlighted her strength and passion for making a difference.
Melissa’s kindness, selflessness, and generosity defined her. She was an amazing mother, a loyal friend, and a compassionate soul who touched the lives of all who knew her. Her love and affection were boundless, and she always prioritized the needs of others, leaving a lasting impact on her community.

A visitation will be held on June 15, 2024, from 3-5 PM, followed by a service at 5 PM at Carlson’s Funeral Home in Medina, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Melissa’s memory to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, continuing her legacy of support for those affected by breast cancer.

Melissa's life, though cut short, was filled with love, laughter, and immeasurable kindness. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us with the same love and strength she exemplified every day.
