Melissa Violet Fralix

With great sadness we share the passing of Melissa Violet Fralix on June 26, 2023. Melissa was born to Charles and Doneva Meeks on September 15, 1971, in Montgomery, West Virginia. She was raised in Charleston, West Virginia and moved to Okeechobee, Florida in June 1981 and remained a resident for 41 years. She loved to socialize with the ones she loved, and she treasured every moment.
Melissa was preceded in death by her father, Charles Meeks; great grandparents, Henry and Macy Meeks; grandparents, Ray and Joy McDonald, James and Violet Lowe; aunt and uncle, Karen and Timmy Stevens; aunts Belinda McDonald and Sharon Lowe; uncle, Jimmy Lowe; and granddaughter, Gracelyn Owens.
She is survived by her mother, Doneva Meeks of Okeechobee, Fl; sister, Michelle Meeks of Okeechobee, Fl; brother, Charles Meeks of Madison, Fl. In addition, she leaves behind three children, Austin Fralix and his wife, Sierra, of Spokane Valley, WA, Cheyene Owens and her husband, Trevor, of Seneca, SC, and Austin Blevins of Okeechobee, Fl; and grandson, Eli Owens. She is also survived by her nieces, Caitlyn Meeks of Okeechobee, Fl, Randy Biegel of Okeechobee, Fl, Ronda Biegel of Mississippi, Nephews Luke Biegel of Madison, Fl, Nathan Meeks of Okeechobee, Fl, Savon Meeks of West Virginia; great niece, Justine Biegel; great nephew, Shane Owens; aunt, Debbie Swims of West Virginia; uncles, William Meeks of Kentucky, Robert Lowe of Bristol, TN, Sammy and Russell Lowe of West Virginia; her bonus children, Corina Reed and her family, Loretha Favela and her family, DeeDee Hamilton; and her bonus grandchildren, Aurora Hodges, Terry White, Karlie White, and Willow White.
Each of us who knew her holds a bit of her story and we will cherish the memories we shared together, and her memory will live on through all of us. She is missed dearly and loved by many.
