Melissa (Missy), age 47, was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina to Tom and Paula Hinman. She and her brother Michael were military kids. Her father Tom served in the US Army throughout their childhood, traveling to different places, including living in Germany for a while.
Melissa loved her husband, her children, and her animals. Though she struggled throughout her life, she was saved by the grace of God and was serving Jesus faithfully during these final years. She also loved her church family. She was a member of City Church in Bartlesville; Oklahoma and she would talk about her church and how much she loved to attend. She also made many friends at the Lighthouse Outreach Center where she served as a cook for a couple of years. She was loved by many and made a huge impact on them.
She had an amazing sense of humor. Many people would say she was one of the funniest people that they'd ever met. She tended to want to collect things, animals, and even people (haha), keeping her house and her heart full.
She is preceded in death by her father, Tom Hinman, mother, Paula Hinman, and her brother Michael Hinman.
She will be greatly missed and is survived by her husband Harold Hayden, Her children, Kendra Cook, Bethany Moore and husband Isaiah, Clayton Collins and fiancée Jessica, Zoe Hays and fiancée Zach and Mable. And her grandchildren Jayden Whitt, Aliyah Williams, Damon, and Waverleigh, Delaine, and Daxton Moore and soon to be born Oliver. Along with many more family members that loved her dearly.
