Melissa Lewis, age 64 of Springboro, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Kettering Health Main Campus. She was born March 11, 1961 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Robert and Joanne Badgley.
Melissa attended West Carrollton Elementary, Vandalia Schools and graduated from Joint Vocational in the class of 1979. She earned an Associate's Degree in Dentistry from Sinclair Community College and worked for Centerville Family Dental as well as Henry Schein for several years. She was a dedicated dog, bird and cat Mom. She enjoyed taking care of her animals and her husband. Together, they loved taking their month long trips to Florida, getaways to the Smokies and finding pinball or mini golf games anywhere they went. In her free time, she enjoyed playing a variety of board games and cards, stargazing, as well as cooking.
She is preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law, Jo Etta Lewis; brother-in- law Bill Johnston; step-father, Phil Andrews.
Melissa is survived by her husband of 30 years, Gregg; sister, Judi Johnston and Amy Romans; father in-law, Raymond Lewis Sr.; sister-in-law, Connie Lewis; brother-in-law, Raymond Lewis Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Per Melissa's wishes, there will be no services.
