Mel is survived by her daughter, Alison Niemann of Marinette; son, Dylan Hilton of Menominee; grandchildren: Luca and Jace Hilton; mom, Lu (Rick) Dittrich of Marinette; brother, Ritchie Hilton; nieces: Britani and Jazzlynn; nephews, Drew and Kendle; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In addition to her father, Richard, she was preceded in death by her sister last year, Kelly.
Private Family Services will be held at Thielen Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank the staff in the ICU at Aurora-St. Luke's for all of their wonderful, compassionate care.
