Melvin H Brown

Mr. Melvin H. Brown, age 88, of Campbellsburg, passed away Saturday, November 8 at his residence.

Mr. Brown was born March 23, 1937 in Frankfort, KY to William U. Brown and Vivian B McQuillen Brown. He was a retired truck driver for Koetter Trucking.

Melvin married Bertha L. Brown who passed away on November 28, 1990. He later married Margaret Brown who passed away on September 6th, 2018.

Mr. Brown is survived by a son: Melvin D. Brown of Campbellsburg, daughters: Vivian Kay Hamilton (Gerald) of Campbellsburg, Deborah S. Berry (Dave) of Salem, Pamela Hawkins (Roger) of Salem, and Theresa Durham of Campbellsburg, sixteen grandchildren: Melissa Donnell, Robin Chastain, Patricia Robbins, Gerald Hamilton Jr., Thomas Hamilton, Michelle Roll, Darrell Brown, Lisa Walker, Kaila Thompson, Cory Brown, Craig Brown, Melinda Trainor, Jennifer Ward, Julie Curvin, Amanda Barton, Jeffrey Durham Jr., thirty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, and several step children, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, and step great great grandchildren. Melvin is also survived by his brother and sister, Gary Brown and Margie Sue Axsom "Dusty".

Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his parents, his wives, a son: William A. Brown, and a great grandchild: Alyssa Chastain.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday November 12, at 1PM at Weathers Funeral Home with Steve Caniff officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11AM-1PM at Weathers Funeral Home.
