Melvin Byrd Obituary
Visitation will be 6-8pm Monday, May 20th. Funeral services will be 10am, Tuesday, May 21, 2024. Committal services will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Dress code is casual. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be directed to Crossroads Hospice.
Melvin was preceded in death by his parents; five siblings; grandchildren: William Albert Clardy, Matthew Allen Byrd, Mackenzie Lynn Rawson; and sons-in-law, Dudley Brandt and George Warkins.
Survivors include his wife of 71+years, Beulah "Boots" Byrd; children: Bonny Brandt, Bill and Dee Clardy, Kathy Warkins, Debbie Stacer, Patti and Lane Walker, Karen and Stanley Weir and Melba and Jerry Crider; 17 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; and 17 great great grandchildren (with two more on the way!).
