It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Melvin C. Dace, a beloved physician, devoted husband, and caring father, who departed this life on March 30, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on May 13, 1936, in Sikeston, Missouri, Dr. Dace dedicated his life to the service of others through his enduring career in healthcare.
Dr. Dace practiced medicine with compassion and commitment, serving his community as a self-employed physician. His contributions to the field and the lives he touched will be remembered fondly by patients and colleagues alike.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Dorothy Dace, and their two sons, John Dace and Douglas Dace. Dr. Dace's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones and all whom he influenced throughout his illustrious career.
A memorial service honoring his life and contributions to those around him will be held in the coming weeks, with details to be announced.
