Melvin Dean Lamb, age 63 of Veedersburg, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at home. He was born in Danville, Illinois on October 21, 1961, to Virgil Larry & Rhoda Jane (Hershberger) Lamb.
Melvin graduated from North Vermillion High School in 1979. On August 14, 1982, he married Loretta Sullivan, she survives. He worked as a sheet metal worker at NewJac in Lebanon for 25 plus years. He enjoyed riding horses, camping, woodworking and leather work.
He is survived by his mother, Rhoda Lamb of Cayuga; two children, Cassandra (Blaise) Ginter of Wallace and Samuel (Kaylea Martin) Lamb of Cates; one brother, Greg (Virginia) Lamb of Wallace; eight grandchildren, Clark, Elliot, Nora, Kylie, Chloe, Jason, Jacob, and Rainer; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Lamb.
Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, in Kingman on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 4:00 pm till the time of the funeral service at 6:00 pm with Pastor Kevin Wildman officiating.
